We have received reports from concerned residents about drivers using mobile phones while driving in the area.

This behaviour is dangerous, illegal, and puts lives at risk.

The Consequences

If you are caught using a handheld mobile phone while driving:

6 penalty points

£200 fine

New drivers risk losing their licence

Serious cases can result in court action or disqualification

Watching movies/videos

Checking directions while holding the device
